Celebrate Republic Day on a grand scale

Nizamabad: District Collector Dr Yogitha Rana directed the officials concerned to take appropriate steps and conduct the Republic Day celebrations on a grand scale. Participating in a review meeting with the officials concerned here on Monday, she said that they should make excellent arrangements this year too.

Cultural programmes should also be organsied on the occasion by the departments of Education and CultureThe District Collector told officials of every department to take interest in participating in the Republic Day celebrations.Joint Collector A Ravinder Reddy, Trainee Collector Pamela, District Revenue Officer Padmakar and others were present.

Later, at another review meeting in the Collectorate, the District Collector instructed all the mandal revenue officers to submit reports on the status of the steps being taken to implement cashless or digital transactions in the district. She told them to organsie awareness camps in the villages to enlighten the people of rural areas on digital transactions.She said cashless transactions should be conducted on a daily basis in the villages without fail.
