Collector calls for speeding up Republic Day fete works

Bhadradri: District Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu ordered officials to speed up works in association with the Singareni Collieries Company Limited for the first-ever Republic Day celebrations to be held in the new district. He inspected municipal grounds along with local legislator Jalagam Venkat Rao here on Monday.

He reviewed arrangements such as place required for police parade, cultural programmes, stalls to exhibit developmental and welfare activities taken up by the State government. Jalagam discussed the feasibilities of the ground with the Collector.
