Ailamma Art Gallery Baghlingampally is conducting an art show titled ‘Way To Go’ from January 6. A total of 31 artists from both the Telugu states are showcasing their works in various art forms in the expo.

Guntur-based Farzona Khanoon, who is participating in the exhibition, did her Masters in Fine Arts from JNAFAU. Sharing about her work, she says “My work is my happiness.

Most of my works have flowers. Many women relate to flowers and threads as most of the relations in a woman’s life are centred on threads like rakhi, then mangalsutra and friendship bands. We mostly use threads to showcase the relation.”

“I always love to use pigment solids in my works. I completed the works, which are displayed in the exhibition, in one month. I was interested in arts and I used to draw paintings in summer holidays in my schooling days.

I did various solo shows before this. My previous work ‘Girl Baby’ explains the importance of girl babies. I am planning to do my next project on black money and at the same time I will do ‘Girl Baby’ Part- 2 also,” she adds.

Another artist Kiran, who hails from Nalgonda presented his artworks using automobile parts. Explaining his works, he says “I took automobile parts to show that men and women are equals.

I used all the parts in the automobile industry to describe this art. In future also, I will use automobile spare parts in my works.”
