Kamareddy: R K Degree and PG college students organised an awareness programme on toilets and hygiene as part of their National Service Scheme (NSS) winter camp at Thimmakpally and Lingaipally on Tuesday.
The students explained about the importance of individual sanitary toilets to the villagers. Thimmakpally sarpanch Jaya Srinivas and Lingaipally sarpanch Amjamma lauded the efforts of the students and asked them to explain to villagers about the consequences of unhygienic conditions.
The college representatives Srinivas Reddy, Saidaiah, Gangadhar, Madhusudhan Reddy, Prabhakar, Bhumesh, Ravi, Sreedhar, NSS-1 progamme officer Lingam, NSS-2 programme officer Anil and many volunteers participated.
