CPI (M) leaders staged a dharna here on Tuesday demanding a solution to the various civic problems facing the town.
Nizamabad: CPI (M) leaders staged a dharna here on Tuesday demanding a solution to the various civic problems facing the town.
In a memorandum submitted to the Municipal Commissioner, the CPI (M) demanded the construction of drainages, roads, setting up of electric poles and providing drinking water facilities at the 36th municipal division at the Doddi Komaraiah nagar.
The CPI also demanded a Road over bridge (ROB) and completion of the construction of the Arsapalli bypass road.
They said that the municipal corporation should obtain the permission from the Railways for the construction of a pipeline to supply water at Arsapalli.
They demanded the construction of an underground drainage system at Bhagat Singh colony which has been pending for the past 25 years and also the construction of D-53 canal.
The CPI (M) members also demanded the construction of 2BHK houses for all those who were eligible. Among those who were present were Malyala Govardhan, CPI (M) secretary, Nizamabad South and others.
