Nalgonda: A 24-year-old man was thrashed for sexually abusing five minor girls in Girikabavigudem under Nalgonda rural police station limits. Parents of the girls accused the youth of sexually abusing the minor girls for the last few days.

The incident came into light on Wednesday. According to Police, five minor girls, aged between 4 and 9, are studying in Girikabavigudem primary school. They are the residents of Sundaraiah Colony of 39th ward in Nalgonda. A local youth named Nagabhushanam alias Nanda Kishore (24), a drum beater by profession, lured the girls on the pretext of buying them chocolates.

However, he started showing obscene videos on his cell phone. He has been inviting them into his room and sexually abusing them for the last few days. One of the girls, who is oldest among them, informed the school teacher about Nanda Kishore misdeeds. The shocked teacher informed the same to the victims' parents.

Angered at this, family members of the girls caught hold of Nanda Kishore and thrashed him. They warned him to leave the Colony immediately. Taking the situation as advantage, Nanda Kishore along with his family members left the village on Tuesday night. On Wednesday, one of the victim's parents lodged a complaint against Nanda Kishore at Nalgonda rural police station.

Police registered a case and further investigation is on. Nalgonda DSP Sudhakar informed that they were taking the case very seriously and search parties constituted to catch the culprit.Meanwhile, the victims were sent to government hospital for medical tests.
