Kothagudem: Power Minister G Jagadish Reddy, who is on a two-day tour of the Bhadradri-Kothagudem district, on Wednesday disclosed that the Central Environment Ministry’s clearance for the Bhadradri Thermal Power Project would be given next week, by January 20.

Genco director, chief engineers and legislator Jalagam Venkat Rao accompanied the Minister. Earlier in the morning, the Minister reviewed the works of the Kothagudem Thermal Power Project 800 MW VII phase, after inspecting the fifth and sixth phases of the project. He interacted with officials seeking details of the project’s working schedules and pace of work. Reddy asked them to complete the VII phase work by December 2018.
