Khammam: All India Student Federation (AISF) stated that it would soon launch a massive movement against the State government demanding to fulfil the promises it made to the students and unemployed youth.

Releasing the poster on bus yatra here at Giriprasad Bhavan on Wednesday, AISF district secretary Jagarlamudi Ranjith Kumar said the TRS party forgot all the poll promises it made to students and jobless youth, and was deceiving them.

“The promise of KG to PG free education had been forgotten long time ago and no TRS leader is evincing interest to talk about it.

In the name of rationalisation, the TRS government is trying to dissolve the government education sector by encouraging corporate education by introducing private universities in the State,” he criticised.

District secretary of All India Youth Federation (AIYF) Siddineni Karna Kumar said the TRS government was cutting the time by not recruiting the vacant teaching and non-teaching posts in many government colleges.

“Though the government promised to provide one lakh jobs to unemployed youth after the formation of Telangana, the TRS government is issuing namesake notifications and did not fill up any jobs till date,” he alleged.

“Demanding the government to solve the said issues, a bus yatra will be organised,” he said, urging the students and unemployed youth to take part in it and make it a grand success.

District president of AISF Etikala Rama Krishna, representatives Madupalli Lakshman, Satish Reddy, Sharif, Seethaiah and Nagula Meera were present along with others.
