Nalgonda: Superintendent of Police Prakash Reddy advised youth not to drive rashly at the risk of own and others lives.

On Wednesday, as a part of Road Safety Week celebrations, the SP launched the two-wheeler driving training programme to Raghavendra and Neelagiri degree college second-year students at Clock Tower in Nalgonda.

Addressing the students on this occasion, the SP advised students to follow traffic rules and avoid accidents to make Nalgonda as accident-free district.

As a part of education, under the supervision of experts, district police decided to train the students of local colleges to drive the two-wheelers perfectly according to traffic rules, he added As a part of enforcement, the SP himself conducted breath analyzer test to few bike riders and imposed penalities to those who failed to produce proper registration papers.

Circle Inspectors Adi Reddy, Anuradha and students of various educational institutes participated. In an another programme conducted by district RTA officials at Korlapahad tollgate of Kethepally mandal, the officials educated the four-wheeler drivers and passengers on importance of seat belts for safety and to prevent loss of life in case of accidents.
