Jagtial: District Collector Dr A Sharath ordered education department officials to take all measures to prepare SSC students for the exams so as to increase pass percentage in upcoming board examinations, at a review meeting at his chamber in the Collectorate on Wednesday.

Speaking at the meeting, the Collector ordered Mandal Education Officers and Head masters of government schools to take serious steps for increasing the pass percentage of SSC students in the district.

The students, who are not performing well in the revision tests, should be sent to the nearby residential schools for 15 days for improving their standards, advised the Collector.

‘Need not to bother about the extra expenditure spent on the students, who are sent to residential schools for a period of 15 days.

I will look into the matter of releasing of that extra expenditure spent on those students,’ he assured.

Sharath enquired MEOs about how much SSC pass percentage they could increase in their respective mandals in coming board examinations.
