On Thursday, the Minister participated as a chief guest to the meeting held on creating awareness among the factory workers on cashless transactions at Lingojigudem of Chouttuppal mandal in Yadadri district.

Addressing the gathering, Dattatreya said Prime Minister Narendra Modi took demonetisation decision for the welfare of poor and to relieve the nation from the clutches of black money hoarders. He advised officials of the factories to educate the workers on cashless transactions.

Expressing his concern over the fluoride-hit villages in erstwhile Nalgonda district, the Minister informed that he would meet the State Urban Development Minister K Taraka Ramarao and Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao personally and request them to address the issue in a possible way.

He appreciated the State government for paying special attention to Yadadri to elevate it as a world-class shrine and also for forming Yadadri Temple Development Autority (YTDA).

He advised the State government to add the jains' historic place Kolanpaka under YTDA. Dattatreya was accompanied by district collector Anitha Ramachandran during his tour to Lingojigudem and was felicitated by officials and party leaders.
