Sai Spoorthi students excel in State-level competitions
The students of polytechnic department of Sai Spoorthi Institute of Technology excelled in State-level sports competitions held at Government Girls Polytechnic College in Karimnagar recently.
Khammam: The students of polytechnic department of Sai Spoorthi Institute of Technology excelled in State-level sports competitions held at Government Girls Polytechnic College in Karimnagar recently.
Students from 31 districts took part in the competitions, wherein the students of Sai Spoorthi bagged several medals. L Pandu (second-year student from mechanical department) and T Shivaram (second- year student from ECE department) bagged first prize in boys Badminton doubles.
D Lavanya, a student of first-year EEE won first prize in Badminton girls singles. L Pandu also secured second place in Discus Throw.
Speaking on the occasion, physical director of Sai Spoorthi College D Raghupathy Reddy lauded the winners for making the Bhadradri-Kothagudem district proud.
“Students should inculcate patriotism apart from shining out in sports,” said College secretary-cum-correspondent D Prabhakar Reddy. Ch Vijay Kumar, Principal of the college, congratulated the student winners on their success.
