Hyderabad: In order to sprout in some valuable lessons about the attitude and its importance in career building for the young blood, JNTUH college of Engineering Hyderabad has organised a one day session about “Developing the Right Attitude and Career Building” on Wednesday at JN Auditorium, JNTUH.

Honorable Vice-Chancellor of JNTUH Dr A Venugopal Reddy was the Chief Guest of the Inaugural Function. He emphasized the importance of developing soft skills for self-introspection to the present generation students apart from acquiring the technical knowledge.

He added that the gap between the university and industry can be bridged through ‘Finishing School’ program which is to polish the fresh engineering B-tech students of all the groups.

Prof A Govardhan, Principal of JNTUH CEH and the Chief Coordinator of the Training Programme highlighted the significance of right attitude and said that it is the essential quality of an individual to build one’s own character and thereby the students could contribute something constructively to the society.

Syed Noor Md. Shakir is the resource person of the entire Skill Development Training Programme, who delivered the Keynote Address during the inaugural session.

Prof P Srinivasa Rao, the Vice-Principal; Prof D Sreenivasa Rao, Coordinator, TEQIP-II; Directors of various units; Dr Parvathi V, Coordinator and HoD, H&SS; University and College officials and Non-Teaching Staff graced the occasion.

There is an overwhelming response from 1200 students of JNTUH CEH who participated actively in the programme.
