The objective of conducting the yagam is to ensure universal wellbeing (Loka Kalyanam). Humankind in the world is facing severe hardships due to the affliction caused by 'Kalasarpam".

In order to alleviate its impact on the lives of the people, the yagam is conducted, he explained. The yagam will remove the pains and bring peace in the lives of the people.

The Ankurarpana of the yagam will be conducted on Saturday, he informed while appealing the devotees to participate in large numbers in the yagam.

Penna Cements, Hyderabad, is extending support to the temple in organising the yagam. A ‘Sri Subrahmanya Swamy Maha Yagam’ has been conducted at the temple during Margashira month, he added.
