District Collector Gaurav Uppal advised lorry drivers not to carry overloads, and youth to wear helmets while riding bikes for safe and secure journey.

He along with SP Prakash Reddy participated in Road Safety Week celebrations at Narketpally. Speaking on the occasion, the duo advised people to follow Traffic and RTA rules for a safe journey, and make Nalgonda an accident-free district.
On the request of people of the town, both Collector and SP visited the "Y" junction of Narketpally near Kamineni hospital, which was accident-prone spot on NH-65. They ordered officials concerned to take necessary measures to address the issue permanently.
Nalgonda RDO Venkatachary, MPP Regatte Mallikarjun Reddy, ZPTC Dudimetla Sataiah Yadav and others participated.
