Food Krafters and Services (FKS) launched its new restaurant, Zaiqa-e-Hyderabad on recently at Banjara Hills. Speaking at a press conference, Khalil Ahmed, Managing Director of FKS, said, ‘‘‘Zaiqa-e-Hyderabad’ is an effort to bring back the century-old food of Hyderabad. It is a multi-formatted restaurant, which serves the traditional food of the city. We have a great team of chefs, which is lead by Pradeep Khosla.

We are also bringing back some foods, which existed at the time of Nizams era and are hard to find now. We hope we serve authentic Nizami cuisines. This is our first ‘Zaiqa-e-Hyderabad’ restaurant in the city and we are planning to set up more in future.”

The newly opened restaurant has items like marag, haleem, lukhmi, paneer tikka, osmani jhinga, mutton do pyasa, kheema matar, asaf jahi gosht khorma, lagan ka murgh, dum ka murgh, nizami handi, bagara baigan, dum ka paneer, tamatari paneer, kacchi yakni biryani, subz biryani and more.

Pradeep Khosla, corporate chef and CEO of ‘Zaiqa-e-Hyderabad’, said “We did an intensive research before launching this restaurant. We met many people in the city to enquire about the dishes of Hyderabad which were made in the olden days. We also met our grandparents to know the recipes at the time of Nizams.”
