They demanded 2BHK houses to the beneficiaries and distribution of three acres of land to the Scheduled Castes.
They urged the State government to take necessary measures to protect the STs, SCs, BCs castes, minorities and women.
The District secretary Gangadharappa said that pay compensation to the displaced people as per the land acquisition act 2013.
He urged the State government to start the prestigious free education scheme from the KG to PG levels.
The protest was taken up to oppose the greedy attitude of the educational institutions, corporate hospitals, said Gangadharappa.
He urged the government to protect the scheduled caste people from village development committees.
CPI(M) leaders and others participated in the programme.
