A large number of devotees attended the celestial wedding of Rukmini Satyabhama Sahita Venugopala on Wednesday, the concluding day of the Bhagavata Saptaha Sahita Rukmini Kalyana Mahotsavalu.

The festivities were organised jointly by Vikasa Tarangini and Velama Sangham at Padmanayaka Kalyana Mandapam.
Ahobila Ramanuja Jeer Swamy and Jagtial Venugopala Chary delivered discourses. The devotees competed to collect ‘Swamyvari talambralu’.
The amount collected during the week-long celebrations will be spent by the district unit of Vikasa Tarangini to run Vedic School, its representative Gautam Rao told The Hans India. He thanked everyone for making the event a grand success.
Namilikonda Ramanacharyulu, a Vedic scholar, informed THI that the kalyanotsvam was well attended by devotees, along with Vedic scholars. Some of them had delivered discourses.
Gopuja, Brahmana Puja and Vaishnava Puja were organised during the programme. He too thanked the participants for making the event a grand success.
