Tummala chaired a review meeting at Technical Training and Development Centre (TTDC) in Khammam on Friday with the district officials about the arrangements to be made for Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s visit to the district for inaugurating the Bhakta Ramadasu Project on January 31.

Speaking in the meeting, Tummala ordered officials to make proper arrangements in view of Chief Minister’s visit. He ordered them to take necessary steps for clearing the hanging electric wires, poles, filling the pits on the road, removing the water pipes on either side of the roads apart from painting the RWS water tanks, government hospitals and school buildings, which the CM was going to inspect.

“Regularise the illegal electricity connections in the villages apart from speeding up the SRSP canal works and also the works of Haritha Haram, double bedroom houses, Mission Kakatiya and other welfare and developmental activities,” advised the Minister.

District Collector D S Lokesh Kumar, Joint Collector T Vinay Krishna Reddy, Additional Superintendent of Police Sai Krishna, Chief Planning Officer of Zilla Parishad Marapaka Nagesh, Rural Development Officer Purnachander Rao, District Panchayat Raj Officer Srinivas Reddy, Project Director of District Rural and Development Agency Muralidhar Rao, City Planning Officer Zad Ramdas, Superintending Engineer of Electricity Department Ramesh and Superin- tending Engineer of Roads and Buildings Department Lingaiah were present along with others.
