Pathagutta temple Brahmotsavams from Feb 6

​Yadagirigutta: The Pathagutta Swayambu Sri Laxminarasimha Swamy temple is getting ready for annual Brahmotsavams, slated from February 6 to 12. Temple Executive Officer Geetha on Friday informed that all necessary arrangements would be made on war footing for the smooth conduct of Brahmotsavams.

As per the schedule, the Brahmotsavams will start with Swasti Vachakam on February 6, followed by Yedurukollu event on 8th and then celestial wedding of Lord Sri Laxminarasimha Swamy with his consort Goddess Laxmi would be performed on February 9 by ruthwiks and priests amidst of the vedic chants. On 10th, Radhotsavam would be organised.

The celebrations will come to an end with Lord's Chakra Snanam (holy bath) in Vishnu Pushkarini, located on Yadadri hillock on final day of Brahmotsavams, i.e., on February 12.

Before the start of Brahmostavams, Adyanostavams would be conducted from February 2 to 5 at the temple, the EO informed.
