​Hyderabad: Mechanical engineering department of MJCET organised a three day workshop on Advances in Research and Innovations in Mechanical Engineering - ARIME 2017.

The workshop is unique in its kind as it doesn’t focus only on one topic as other workshops protocol but its gives an exposure to the varied topics on advances in mechanical engineering like mechatronics , FEA, Advancements in the field of IC engines, Robotics, Rapid prototyping, Turbomachinery, CFD, Innovating thinking development, CAD/CAM, Advancement in Materials engg, Digital Manufacturing.

The workshop doesn’t believe in transferring the knowledge only lectures from the eminent and experience personalities of their field but also believe in practical exposure of the same. So we have an industrial visit to B.H.E.L on 2nd day of the workshop.

The chief guest of the occasion, N Shiva Prasad, Pro Vice Chancellor, Hyderabad Campus, GITAM University, said “The failures lead to new innovation, so the young minds should develop the thought process rather than get disappointed by failures.

India is in forefront when it comes to space engineering and nuclear engineering; this was supported by the fact that 103 satellites are being placed in one rocket- a technology developed in India”.
