Continuing its efforts towards battling cancer, Apollo Hospitals will be hosting third edition of ‘Apollo Cancer Conclave’ (ACC) and the seventh edition of the ‘Cancer CI 2017’ at HICC in Hitec City from February 2 to 5.

About 2,500 delegates and 400 faculty of Global Cancer Care, researches and medical practitioners from around the world are expected to attend the event.

The information came on Monday from Dr P Vijay Anand Reddy, Director, Apollo Cancer Hospital and Chairman, Organising Committee in the presence of Dr SVSS Prasad, Dr Srinivas Chakravarthy, Dr TPS Bhandari and Dr Kaushik Bhattacharyya.

Elaborating on the details, Dr Reddy said, “The conclave provides a platform to deliberate on cancer management through panel discussions, interactive sessions and debates, all organised with a view to encourage a multi-modality approach towards raising the bar in cancer care.”

Dr Prathap C Reddy, Founder & Chairman, Apollo Group of Hospitals, said, “The Apollo Cancer Conclave will bring together the best minds in oncology both from abroad and India to deliberate on the rapid advances in the fields of Surgical, Medical, Radiation Oncology, Haematology and Robotic surgery and its practical application.”

Dr Vijay added, “In the last few decades cancer care has transited at a phenomenally rapid pace from broad based management to exceedingly precise personalised treatment. Thereby the trauma cancer patients had to endure has been significantly reduced, recovery is speedy and the survival rate is enhanced manifold.”

“The conclave will emphasise on discovering newer horizons in oncology treatment. The faculty will unravel revelations in techniques and technology. The three days confabulations should appreciably enrich and improve care givers knowledge and ability,” he said.
