SCCL to increase coal production
Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) director J Pavitran Kumar thanked Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for increasing upper age limit for jobs on compassionate grounds to 40 years.
​Kothagudem: Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) director J Pavitran Kumar thanked Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for increasing upper age limit for jobs on compassionate grounds to 40 years.
Speaking at a media conference held at Singareni guest house here on Monday, Pavitran Kumar said the company would increase coal production in near future. He added that recruitment to 400 posts was in process and asked the employees to work with commitment. He stated that the development of the State depends on SCCL.
Operations Director B Ramesh Kumar said the production fell this year due to poor rainfall. “Production cost will be reduced, 2.01 lakh tonnes of coal will be produced by March. 2.6 MW power generation has been started,” he added. General Managers Murali Sagar Rao and Anand Rao also attended the press meet.
