Civic chief inaugurates book exhibition in Siricilla

Sircilla: ‘Books play an important role in our lives to understand society and to achieve higher goals in life,’ said Municipal Commissioner B Suman Rao.
He inaugurated a book exhibition organised by Nava Chethana Book House, beside Municipal Office in Siricilla on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Municipal Commissioner Suman Rao observed reading books of various subjects would improve knowledge. The books of Telangana literature, history and culture are a must
for the youth, who write competitive exams.“One should have passion for purchasing of books, which are source of knowledge and wisdom. The wealth of knowledge and wisdom is highest compared to any other wealth,” he said.
Telagana Grandalaya Vedika state president Muduganti Sudhakar Reddy said several books and newspapers inspired many people during the Telangana Movement to participate for achieving separate Statehood. A healthy and strong society can be built by reading of good books, he observed.
Nava Chethana Book House Manager said that the exhibition will be held from January 31 to February 15 with 10 per cent discount on all kinds of books and urged the people to utilise this opportunity.
