Daily water supply to slums put off

​Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board managing director M Dana Kishore on Tuesday said the daily water supply to 167 slums, which was to have begun from Wednesday, was postponed by a week due to technical reasons.
The water board MD said the trial runs would continue for one more week and then the daily supply would be formally launched.
Dana Kishore said problems would be sorted out during the trial runs and awareness campaigns would be taken up in slums and schools with the help of self-help groups in a vigorous manner.
