A six-member team of Hyderabad Youth Assembly (HYA) took all pains to reach a few remote thandas in Nirmal district, which cannot be reached by bus or car except tractors, to provide electricity to the people.Â
A six-member team of Hyderabad Youth Assembly (HYA) took all pains to reach a few remote thandas in Nirmal district, which cannot be reached by bus or car except tractors, to provide electricity to the people.
On Tuesday, the team put up a flexi poster and gave a 7 watt solar LED torch light and a 25 watt solar LED emergency lamp to the residents of each home in Malkapur, Burkaregadi, Morigudem and Vasthapur thandas in Mamda mandal in Nirmal district. The solar panels were installed on the roofs of their huts.
Later, they gathered all the residents at a place and explained the usage of the equipment along with a live demonstration.
They conducted a session on Renewable Sources of Energy along with the teachers from the village primary school. There were over 80 houses and 200 tribal people (from 4 locations) who were the benefactors of their operation.
