New Kamareddy SP introduces reforms
Sweta Reddy who assumed the office of Kamareddy SP introduced many reforms -- like receiving and sending messages on Whatsapp -- in the working of the police department to make the police people’s-friendly.
​Kamareddy: Sweta Reddy who assumed the office of Kamareddy SP introduced many reforms -- like receiving and sending messages on Whatsapp -- in the working of the police department to make the police people’s-friendly.
She is receiving complaints from people personally through the ‘Dial Your SP’ programme held on first Mondays in every month.
She directed the police to investigate the cases as soon as they receive complaints from the people, appointed a police officer for each village and constituted She teams and appointed a team of officials to supervise its working.
Further, she told the people to complain to her directly if they have any grievance with any police officer. She participated in road safety week celebrations along with SI and CI.
She cracked three murder cases using the sophisticated modern technology. She was instrumental in starting family counselling centers at sub-divisional level.
Traffic signals have been installed in the town. Efforts are under way to get CCTVs installed at important places and colonies.
