Prof Sunaina Singh, Vice Chancellor, English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), was honoured with an award for her outstanding contributions in the field of building an institution. 

Hyderabad: Prof Sunaina Singh, Vice Chancellor, English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), was honoured with an award for her outstanding contributions in the field of building an institution.

Hyderabad based BSA (Business School Affaire) and Dewang Mehta National Education Awards honoured EFLU with the Educational Leadership Award in a function held recently at the IPE campus, Hyderabad. This is the second time the EFLU has bagged the award.

EFLU achieved ‘A’ Grade from NAAC after 16 years under Prof Singh, with her academic vision. Apart from serving the university Prof Singh has been a part of policy-making bodies instrumental in shaping the academic future of the country. She eminently fulfils the role of a model woman leader whose contributions are significant to the nation.

She was also honoured with Bharat Gourav Award (2016) by IFFS in 2016, 100-Most Influential Vice Chancellors (2016) by World Education Congress, Chanakya Award for Excellence in Good Governance by Public Relations Council of India (PRCI), Woman of the year Award by the Citizens Council of Andhra Pradesh (CCAP), Award for outstanding contributions to Education, presented by the World Education Congress, and the Education Leadership Award, presented by Dewang Mehta Business School, Mumbai in the year 2014.

She is also the recipient of Rashtriya Gaurav Award (2011) for her outstanding contribution to higher education.
