Two injured in gelatin sticks blast in Mancherial

Mancherial: Two people, E Mallesh and T Shankar, were severely injured in an explosion of gelatin sticks on Thursday in Gadhpur village of Hazipur mandal in Mancherial district.
The duo lit a campfire in the morning with dry straws found in the surroundings. Then a sudden explosion came from the fire.
Hearing the sound, neighbours rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to the Mancherial Government Hospital.
The doctors said Mallesh had lost his vision completely, while they shifted Shankar to Karimnagar for better medical treatment.
