Macherla YSRCP MLA showers praises on Harish Rao

​Warangal: Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao has received accolades from unlikely quarters with YSRCP MLA from Macherla in Andhra Pradesh, P Ramakrishna Reddy praising the Minister’s leadership qualities.

He said ‘People in Telangana are fortunate to have a leader like Harish Rao, who makes great efforts in addressing the public issues, especially of the poorer sections. I came here travelling 300 kilometres just to meet Harish Rao and to listen to him’.

The MLA attended a convention of community water treatment plant committees organised by Kazipet based NGO, Bala Vikasa Bala Vikasa Social Service Society at Fatima Nagar here on Friday. Speaking on the occasion he also lauded the administration of TRS government and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

When compared Telangana and AP governments, the latter lags much behind in terms of ensuring good governance and in addressing public issues. In AP opportunistic politics have gained priority over public issues, Ramakrishna Reddy lamented.

Responding the YSRCP MLA’s comments, Minister Harish Rao thanked him. ‘The public would always stand by the parties that offer good governance, if the current regime fails to impress the public they would look for alternates and then you would have a chance to offer good rule to the people in the AP,’ he told the MLA.

The convention was attended by MPs P Dayakar and A Seetaram Naik, MLAs D Vinay Bhasker, Aroori Ramesh, E Dayakar Rao, T Rajaiah and Rasamayi Kishan, MLC K Muralidhar Rao, Civil Supplies Corporation chairman P Sudharshan Reddy, GWMC mayor N Narender, KUDA chairman M Yadava Reddy, besides Bala Vikasa office bearers.
