Do more research to gain knowledge in Telugu literature: Satavahana University VC

Karimnagar: ‘Telugu language is the sweetest of all languages. Through perfect research on Telugu literature, the students of the present generation can gain enormous knowledge.

They also will know its importance along with the various traditions and culture pertaining to Telangana State,’ said Satavahana University Vice-Chancellor V Komal Reddy.

The University Telugu department organised a seminar on ‘Telanganalo Pracheena, Adhunika Kavulu’ at the central library of new campus building at Malkapur Road in Karimnagar on Tuesday.

Attending as a chief guest at the seminar, the V-C observed that these seminars on Telugu Literature will help the students to realise the importance of the language.

Special invitee Dr K Rama Krishna advised the students not to forget mother tongue and said neglecting Telugu language is similar to that of neglecting their mother.

University Principal Dr Surepalli Sujatha, Telugu Department Head Dr Sandineni Ravinder, Dr Vara Prasad, Dr Jaffar Jari, Assistant Registrar Kishore, Ravinder Rao, Dr K Muthyam, Dr T Chakradhar Swamy, Dr G Lakshminarayana, Dr Usha Rani and Dr K Krishna Kumar were present along with others.
