In a move to push handloom sector, the District Collector, Surendra Mohan, and other officials attended the Grievance Day by wearing handloom clothes, held at Collectorate on Monday.

Speaking to The Hans India, the Collector informed that following the appeal of Minister for Handlooms KT Rama Rao, officials and staff of the Collectorate wore handloom garments on Grievance Day, held regularly on every Monday.
Special handloom sales counter was also opened in the beginning to help employees purchase handlooms at the Collectorate, he added.
