The Minister issued the cheques under the scheme to the beneficiaries of all mandals present under Huzurabad constituency at MCR Gardens in the mandal headquarters of Jammikunta.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said cheques worth Rs 1.28 crore were issued to about 281 beneficiaries on the day and the remaining cheques, which are in pending, will be issued within a week for 200 beneficiaries.
“The schemes are implemented perfectly in the State without giving any scope for irregularities. All measures are taken for issuing cheques to the beneficiaries on the day of marriage only from coming March,” he disclosed.
