Rachakonda: Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat informed that their commissionerate has adopted Rachakonda village in Naryanpur mandal in Yadadri district.

On Wednesday, the Rachakonda police conducted a health camp for the tribes of Rachakonda and Tippaigudem Thandas.

Speaking on the occasion, Mahesh Bhagwat said the main purpose of conducting health camp was to provide better treatment facilities to tribals.

Recalling his days as SP of erstwhile Nalgonda, Bhagwat said people of this region used to ruin their lives by believing in superstitions and approach witches when they fell ill.

He thanked doctors of Sai Sanjivini Eye Hospital, Kamineni Hospital and local PHC doctors for extending their services.

Power Minister G Jagadish Reddy, DGP Anurag Sharma, MLC Karne Prabhakar, District Collector Anitha Ramchandran, MLA Manchireddy Kishan Reddy and others participated.
