e-Beat system to control crimes in Adilabad
District Superintendent of Police Srinivas inaugurated an e-Beat system to strengthen the night patrolling here at the SP camp office here on Wednesday.
​Adilabad: District Superintendent of Police Srinivas inaugurated an e-Beat system to strengthen the night patrolling here at the SP camp office here on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the SP said that the system which would not only reduce the number of crimes but also prevents the untoward incidents which may take place in future.
Police who patrols during the nights will be provided smart mobiles to take pictures and videos of suspicious persons and they will be posted to police control room, SP added.
System would also be able to keep track the policemen who were deployed for night duty, said Srinivas. The Superintendent of Police said that their main aim was to make the district crime-free.
Based on the information provided by citizens “We arrested 74 accused allegedly involved in various cases”, the SP added.
He further asked the people to come forward and bring issues to the officers concerned. The Deputy Superintendent of Police Lakshmi Narayana, CircIe-Inspector of Police Venkata Swamy, Satyanarayana and others were present.
