Hyderabad: IT & Industries Minister KT Rama Rao on Friday said efforts would be made to set up Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) at Kothagudem.

Participating at Pharma Sector Skill event attended by youth trained with skills under TASK programme at Haritha Plaza here, the Minister asserted that employment opportunities should be made available in other districts also.

Development projects and rapid business activity should not confine to just Hyderabad alone and instead they must be spread to other areas in the State for inclusive growth, KT Rama Rao has said.

TASK was aimed at tapping talent in rural areas and towns by offering necessary training and skills among youth and educated people to help them bag employment opportunities.

The nation has abundant human resources and potential which were needed to be tapped and encouraged with needed measurements, the Minister maintained.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, efforts were on to create more jobs for youth, he claimed.

“Now we are focusing on giving required training and skills to the youth for increase of job potential,” he said.
