T-JAC chief to meet Mid-Manair evacuees today
The District Secretary of the Communist Party of India, Gunti Venu said that the State President of Telangana Joint Action Committee (T-JAC), Prof. Kondaram is going to visit Sircilla District on Monday to interact with the people who lost their land under Mid Manair Project and to know their problems.
Sircilla : The District Secretary of the Communist Party of India, Gunti Venu said that the State President of Telangana Joint Action Committee (T-JAC), Prof. Kondaram is going to visit Sircilla District on Monday to interact with the people who lost their land under Mid Manair Project and to know their problems.
Venu also said that the people who were living around the Mid-Manair Project region have been facing lot of problems for several years and there was no word from the officials concerned about their rehabilitation. It was unfortunate that they were exerting pressure on the victims to vacate their houses and give up their agricultural lands on which they were dependent for their livelihood.
The CPM party along with T-JAC and other peoples’ organisation decided to fight united for the people living under Mid Manair Project until their problems are solved.
He urged the people to participate in the programme in large numbers and explain their problems to the Prof. Kondaram. He said that they should fight jointly with people’s organisations and the CPM party to get their problems solved.
