Godavarikhani: The representatives of Bajrang Dal criticised that some of the western-based corporate companies have been encouraging Valentine Day celebrations to suppress the Indian culture and traditions.

They conducted a campaign called ‘Ban Valentine Day’ to bring awareness among the people not to celebrate such western-based events and asked them to oppose the companies that are encouraging people to celebrate such occasions in the city.

Speaking on the occasion, Bajrang Dal district leader Ayodhya Ravinder urged all the people of the country to fight against such western-based companies, which are posing a threat to Indian culture and traditions in future.

He advised the youth to follow the footsteps of great Indian leaders like Swami Vivekananda and Abdul Kalam and asked them to strive hard to protect Indian traditions and customs.

The youth were also suggested not to indulge in such type of activities and spoil their lives and were advised to focus on their studies to achieve their goals.

Ravinder said that they are not against to pure love but they do not tolerate western culture in India which may spoil the future of the youth.
