Inaugurating a sub-station at Sircilla along with Power Minister G Jagadish Reddy, Rama Rao took serious exception to the comments made by them that the government has failed in keeping its promises.

He alleged that some people with no political jobs are trying to blame the government with false allegations.

It should be noted here that Kodandaram is planning a rally of youth for jobs and target the government.
Assuring that the government was committed to fill up jobs through TSPSC, the Minister suggested the youth not to get provoked with such comments.

He also said that the government made huge budgetary allocations to poor, BCs and deprived classes. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was committed to offer a helping hand to these classes.

He pointed out that Rs 1,000 pension was being offered to beedi workers and distributing fine rice to welfare hostels. The TRS government is giving top priority to fill up jobs, welfare of poor people and deprived classes, he said.

The minister also claimed that the government is attracting more investments for productivity by maintaining law and order with top priority.

Rama Rao said the Telangana government tide over power crisis by giving top priority spending huge funds to purchase from other states like Chhattisgarh.

He promised to develop a special programme for Sircilla Rajanna district. He said that the district will get year-long water once Mid Manair project is filled with adequate waters and efforts are in that direction.

He appreciated that people of 13 villages, who gave up their lands for Mid Manair project and said that they have shifted waters to Vemulawada from Yellampally.

Saying that they will cleanse the feet of Sircilla people through Godavari waters, Rama Rao said that 35,000 acres will be irrigated through Malakpet reservoir.
