Along with Power Minister G Jagadish Reddy, Talasani had darshan of Lingamanthula Swamy and Goddess Chowdamma at the temple located on Durajpalli hillock and performed special pujas.

Later speaking to media, Talasani said more funds were allocated in the budget to sanction sheep rearing units to poor Yadav families. In this connection, orders were issued to all the Collectors in the state to identify the eligible poor Yadav families under the scheme.

In united Andhra Pradesh, the development of Telangana was completely ignored and most of the people left their profession due to lack of proper support from the then governments, he said.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was giving priority to goat and sheep rearing to reduce the imports from other States. “Government is providing incentives to the farmers who are supplying milk to State government's Vijaya dairy.

So also for the welfare of Gangaputra and Mudiraj community, fish rearing was being carried out in all water bodies which were revived under Mission Kakatiya scheme,” he said, stating that he would do his better for the development of Yadav community.

Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy stated that festivals and Jataras gained recognition post State bifurcation.

Government has decided to construct function hall and building for accommodating devotees at Durajpalli hillock, he informed.

District Collector Surendra Mohan, temple chairman Gundeboina Srinivas welcomed the Ministers on their visit. Zilla Parishad Chairman Balu Naik, Joint Collector Sanjeeva Reddy, Nakrekal former MLA Nomula Narsimhaiah, MPP Janaiah and others participated.

Meanwhile on second day of the 5-day celebrations, the Durajpalli hillock reverberated with ‘Olinga’ slogans and drum beats. As a part of the tradition, devotees offered Bonalu and sacrificed sheep.
