Nalgonda Congress lashes out at TRS leaders for belittling Komatireddy

​Nalgonda: Congress senior leader and former MLA Chirumarthi Lingaiah slammed MLC Rajeshwar Reddy and MLA Vemula Veeresham for making false allegations against MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy during the inauguration of new buildings in Mahatma Gandhi University on Sunday.

Speaking to media in Nalgonda on Monday, Chirumarthi said the university was established in Nalgonda only with the efforts of MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy.

He advised TRS leaders to learn respecting local MLA during the inaugurations. Chirumarthi further listed out various developmental activities carried out by Komatireddy in Nalgonda constituency and in erstwhile Nalgonda district for the last 17 years and questioned TRS leaders to explain the developmental activities of the government in the district for the last two-and-a-half years.

Describing Komatireddy as leader of masses, Chirumarthi advised MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy and MLA Vemula Veeresham to do something for the welfare of people and for the progress of district.

Congress leaders Gummala Mohan Reddy, Pasham Sampath Reddy, Srinivas Reddy, Vanguri Laxmaiah, Kattula Koti and others participated.
