Spoken English book launched at Balabharathi College Day
The annual day of Balabharati Junior College, located at Sirpur Kagaznagar, was celebrated on a grand scale in the college premises on Monday.
​Asifabad: The annual day of Balabharati Junior College, located at Sirpur Kagaznagar, was celebrated on a grand scale in the college premises on Monday.
The College, established around four decades ago, is run by the State government and has been imparting education at intermediate level. The management organises a mega event of the annual day every year in order to make the college days as the best memories in students’ lives.
Various cultural and entertainment programmes, dance performances attracted many. The launching of ‘Spoken English’ book by the College management to instil English knowledge among the learners has become the centre of attraction of the day.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest at the function Sirpur Kagaznagar MLA Koneru Konappa said, 'College life is quite contrary to school life and it is the next few years of a student that will decide his/her destiny. I urge the students to have a strong inclination and have an iron will to achieve their goals'.
The end of the event had an emotional appeal as the senior intermediate students bid farewell to the college and expressed their gratitude to their faculties, who teach and helped them to move on towards the next levels of education and life.
