Ensure 100% deliveries in Sircilla govt hospitals: Collector

​Sircilla: District Joint Collector Yasmine Basha ordered the health officials to conduct 100 per cent deliveries in government hospitals.

She handed over the appointment orders of gynaecologist to Dr Dasyam Ramya Krishna and anaesthesian to P Thirupathi under the programme of ‘National Health Mission’ in her chamber here on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Joint Collector ordered the health officials to conduct normal deliveries to the patients, who visit Government Area Hospital by providing better health services.

As per the instructions given by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, the health officials must take necessary steps for conducting 100 per cent of normal deliveries in government hospitals being available to the patients at all time, she added.

Better health services are provided in government hospitals keeping in mind that the poor people cannot afford high fees at private hospitals, she pointed.

Moreover many private hospitals are doing surgeries during deliveries, which would affect women health, she added.

The officials were told to increase the deliveries in government hospital to 100 per cent from the present 40 to 50 per cent.

She also said that the Primary Health Centres are going to be transformed into e-PHCs very soon for providing better health services like that of private corporate hospitals.

District Medical and Health Officer Dr R Ramesh, staff of Health Department Mahendar and Anil were present along with others.
