BJP Porubata launched to assess SCCL coal miners woes
BJP legislature party leader Kishan Reddy launched Porubata here on Monday to hear the problems Singareni Collieries Company Limited coal miners’. Prior to the programme, he garlanded Dr BR Ambedkar’s statue near the post office here. He toured 5 incline area of the SCCL as part of the Porubata programme.
Kothagudem: BJP legislature party leader Kishan Reddy launched Porubata here on Monday to hear the problems Singareni Collieries Company Limited coal miners’. Prior to the programme, he garlanded Dr BR Ambedkar’s statue near the post office here. He toured 5 incline area of the SCCL as part of the Porubata programme.
He also inspected their work place and interacted with them to understand their problems. He spoke to medical officers of the Singareni main hospital here and enquired about the medical services being extended to the miners.
The BJP leader further enquired from them SCCL management’s spending on miners’ health and maintained that the management owed full responsibility for their workers’ welfare. He demanded establishment of a medical college by the management. Many SCCL workers submitted memoranda to Kishan Reddy highlighting their problems.
