He chaired a district-level Task Force meeting with committee members and officials of Industries department at his chamber here on Tuesday.
Speaking at the meeting, the Collector said the applications of 35 unemployed youth, who have applied through district Industries department to establish tailoring, engineering and other workshops, were accepted and recommended the banks to sanction loans to them.
The committee has checked as many as 15 applications, received through Khadi Village Industries Board to establish industries and service centres and recommended the banks to sanction loans for them.
As many as seven applications were received under TS I-Pass to establish industries at a cost of Rs 6 crore, the committee accepted six of them and rejected one application for establishment of Hydal Solar Power Project, which was opposed by the people.
Eight out of the 13 applications submitted by jobless SC youth were accepted while six out of 11 applications of ST candidates were accepted.
Industries Department General Manager Rajaram, Municipal Commissioner Suman Rao, District Panchayat Raj Officer Shekar, LDM General Manager, TS I-Pass and Yellareddypet Sarpanch were present along with others.
