Karimnagar: Elaborate arrangements were made for the smooth conduct of Intermediate examinations in the district, said District Collector Sarfaraz Ahmed.

He chaired a review meeting with the officials at his chamber in the Collectorate in Karimnagar on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that tight security arrangements were made for conducting Intermediate examination from 9 am to 12 pm from March 1 to 19.

He advised the students to come one hour before to the examination centre since they will not be allowed if they come late by even one minute.

Sarfaraz ordered the police officials to implement 144 section at the 47 examination centres and to take necessary steps for preserving question papers in police stations along with asking the owners of Xerox centres to close the shops during examination time to prevent any untoward incidents.

He ordered the officials of RTC department to arrange transport facilities for the convenience of students during the examination time so that the students can reach the exam centres in time without late.

Transco officials were told to supply uninterrupted power during the examinations. ‘Make arrangements to provide safe drinking water along with temporary shelters for providing medical services in case of emergency along with one ambulance,’ he ordered.

The Collector urged the officials of various departments to work in coordination with each other for conducting the Intermediate examinations in peaceful environment in the district.

Intermediate Regional Coordinator, District Education Officer and the officials from various departments were present.
