Mancherial: The city police have arrested four inter-district thieves, involved in regular thefts for the past few months, Deputy Commissioner of Police John Wesly informed.
The DCP produced the thieves before the media here on Monday. He said the police have recovered Rs 72,000 cash and seized one Tata Sumo, goods vehicle, one auto and a motorcycle from accused.
Earlier, the police arrested Mekala Laxman, Lopini Maddulu, hailing from Godavarikhani, while trying to steal a two-wheeler. Based on the information from the duo, the police nabbed the other two members of the gang.
The DCP, Jaipur ACP Kavitha congratulated the police. Srirampur SI Raviprasad and other staff were present.
