On Monday, the Ramanna along with Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy, laid foundation stone for the BC Gurukula Patashala near Musi project in Ketepally mandal. Speaking on the occasion, Ramanna said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has been taking personnel attention towards the development of BCs who make up 50 per cent of the populace in state.

Government is sanctioning Rs 20 lakh to BC students for overseas studies, he added.

Minister Jagadish Reddy, in his speech, explained how the State was progressing under the leadership of KCR. Nakrekal constituency got state-wide recognisation with rapid development in the last three years, he said.

Local MLA Vemula Veeresham thanked KCR and Ministers Jagadish Reddy and Jogu Ramanna for extending their cooperation for the development of Nalgonda.

Briefing about the BC Gurukul School, he said school campus would be constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 19 crore which consists of school building, hostel building and quarters for staff.

Local TRS leaders, officials and people participated.
