Hanamkonda: Parkal TRS leaders have raised voice of dissent against the local MLA Ch Dharma Reddy while accusing him of neglecting senior workers in the party.

Several leaders of the party have complained that a large number of activists from Parkal assembly constituency have worked for the party since its inception in 2001 but they were being denied their due share in filling up nominated posts.

Speaking to presspersons in Hanamkonda on Wednesday, Taragala Prasad, R Ravinder, S Babu Rao, Kadari Sambaiah, Bogi Ravi, V Kumaraswamy, Poshala Prabhakar and others expressed their dissent over the MLAs’ way of functioning.

‘Representations were given to the MLA two times seeking to recognise our services and secure proper share in nominated posts but in vain. Even after the TRS government came to power the party workers from the constituency have failed to receive recognition for the services,’ they lamented.

The MLA even after joining the TRS party from TDP was patronising the cadre that followed him while he was in TDP while neglecting those made sacrifices to build TRS in the constituency. ‘The Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao, should look into the issue and ensure justice to us,’ they said.

Prasad and others wanted due share in nominated posts to the senior workers saying “For instance Bar Council leader M Sahodar Reddy is associated with the TRS from the beginning. He worked as Parkal assembly constituency in-charge and supported the party workers, but he is not given any post’

Hence the party leadership should consider Sahodar Reddy for MLC seat or any equivalent position, they noted while hoping that the CM would respond positively to their appeal and ensure suitable positions to the seniors.
