SCR conducts inspections of Hyderabad Division

Vinod Kumar Yadav, General Manager, South Central Railway (SCR) conducted annual inspection of Dhone – Secunderabad Section of Hyderabad Division on Friday.

This included stations like Kurnool City, Gadwal and Mahabubnagar in which Aruna Singh, Divisional Railway Manager, Hyderabad Division accompanied.

The daylong inspection began with a ‘Speed Test’ on Dhone – Bhogolu section. Later, the GM inaugurated a Manned Level Crossing with solar roof top for winch arrangement between Veldurthi-Ulindakonda section.

At Kurnool City Station, the GM visited the exhibition of LED equipment and inaugurated fully lit LED station; 10 KWP on-grid solar plant; retiring room; RO Water Plant. He also inaugurated Children’s park, Type-IV Railway staff quarters, CSI Office, Online self assessment and grading software.

The GM halted and inspected Shri Bala Brahmeswara Jogulamaba Halt station that included the passenger amenities and facilities available. He inspected Poodoor station premises, yard points and crossings and inaugurated 3 KW Solar – wind Hybrid plant.

At Gadwal, the GM inspected Crew rest room, inaugurated Solar DC/AC pump, two stage cooling system of crew rest room, battery management system etc.

At Mahbubnagar, he inspected the station premises, inaugurated renovated Goods Platform facility; he declared open the Gadwal-Mahbubnagar section as 100% LED lit section.

Finally, he inaugurated Staff quarters at Timmapur station.
